Trichloroethylene (TCE) is a chlorine containing organic compound, widely employed as an industrial solvent.[1][2] TCE is formed as a major intermediate during the biodegradation of tetrachloroethylene (PCE) in a small anaerobic continuous-flow fixed film column.[2]
 

应用

Trichloroethylene may be employed for various industrial processes, such as metal cleaning and degreasing.[3] It may be used to synthesize chloroacetic acid.[4]
