Applications | Acid Blue 9 (CAS# 2650-18-2) is an organic azo dye. It has been used in the preparation of solar-sensitive liposomes capable of capturing and releasing food dyes for the measurement of sunlight exposure over extended periods of time. Being water soluble, acid blue 9 is often considered a pollutant, and is used as an analyte in the development of azo-dye removal processes. |
